Young People’s Complex Needs Worker
Salary: £19,400 per annum pro rata for 32 hours per week (worked flexibly)
Providing a range of high quality support and timely intervention, and access to independent advice and information, for young people aged 16-25 years either homeless or at risk of homelessness. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate resilience and ability to work under pressure. We are looking for candidates with a positive "can do" attitude, who are able to demonstrate experience of developing effective working relationships with young people, many with complex needs. You will have the ability to communicate effectively across settings and to work as part of a team and as part of the wider complex needs system in Plymouth. You will need to be an effective problem solver and be able to work on your own initiative, with ability for helping young people to feel safe, to feel valued and to reach their full potential. Candidates will need to work flexibly across settings with experience of working in a young person centred environment. The post may require occasional evening and weekend working.
